• Possible glitch related to a command in 'coreutils'

    Hi, there!

    The command I was afraid of is 'truncate'.
    'truncate' could do two different types of things:
    1) If the input is superior to a certain size, stop.
    2) If the input is inferior to a certain size, *expand* the input to
    that size.
    This way, uncontroled by command parameters, the result could be
    correct or not depending on the way the command mode choose.

    I hope I'm explaining the problem well.
