Post Civil War, Tom Hanks crosses Texas from town to town, performing
for locals his compelling readings of the latest published news ...when
he happens upon a young German girl raised by Kiowas. NEWS OF THE WORLD
is a handsome, possibly historically accurate production with a big star
and a top director (Paul Greengrass). But its story, from a novel,
relies heavily on pre-packaged themes, and, rather than adventure or discovery, feels mostly like yesterday's news. Somewhat recommended.

Low-keyed, the "action" comprises an abrasiveness counterposed for a
protean performer's ability clearly to reason through all lesser,
ignominiously illiterate minds. Cave-dwellers being never afar to lack

baser motif of slavery, it would seem, is one further reserved for a thirteen-year-old girl and young woman, his companion, similarly by

Neither which among action-oriented events, of course concertedly need necessarily be culminates upon an interwoven extensibility empowered
this superhero of exceeding mental capacity, upon whom words and
reading ostensibly are endowed the transcendent luridness to spew
tales and no less copy like it is, most illuminated brethren.

Why so for a Texan? Did it seem familiar in any way?

It was a detailed look at Texas of 150 years ago. A trip down from
Wichita Falls down I-35 to San Antonio via horse cart. Except, I-35 was
    a cow path.
