    HBO's Drama Oslo Gets Trailer Ahead of May Release
    HBO released the first Oslo trailer today before the film debuts
    on May 29. After it premieres on the subscription channel, the
    Ruth Wilson (HBO's His Dark Materials and Mrs. Wilson) and
    Andrew Scott-led film will become streamable on HBO Max.

    Oslo is based upon the award-winning play of the same name.
    It's a dramatization of real-life events that sees Golden Globe
    winner Wilson playing a Norweigan foreign minister named Mona
    Juul and Scott (Fleabag and Black Mirror) as her husband. The
    film's plot revolves around "negotiations between implacable
    enemies - the secret back-channel talks, unlikely friendships
    and quiet heroics of a small but committed group of Israelis,
    Palestinians and one Norwegian couple that led to the 1993
    Oslo Peace Accords."

    HBO announced that the other cast members include: Salim Daw
    (Fauda) as Ahmed Qurie, Finance Minister of the PLO; Waleed
    Zuaiter (The Spy) as Hassan Asfour, Qurie's associate & PLO
    liaison; Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox) as Uri Savir, Director
    General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry; Igal Naor (Fauda) as
    Joel Singer, legal adviser to the Israeli Foreign Ministry;
    Dov Glickman (Shtisel) as Yair Hirschfield, Israeli professor
    of economics; Rotem Keinan (Fauda) as Ron Pundak,
    Hirschfield's associate and fellow Israeli professor; Itzik
    Cohen (Fauda) as Yossi Beilin, Israeli Deputy Foreign
    Minister; Tobias Zilliacus (Thicker Than Water) as Jan
    Egeland, Norwegian State Secretary; and Sasson Gabay (Sirens)
    as Shimon Peres, Foreign Minister of the State of Israel.

    The upcoming HBO film was written by J.T. Rogers, who also
    wrote the Tony Award-winning play, while Tony Award winner
    Bartlett Sher (South Pacific) is directing the film. Executive
    producers include Sher, Cambra Overend, Marc Platt
    Productions' Marc Platt (La La Land), Jared LeBoff and Adam
    Siegel, DreamWorks Pictures' Steven Spielberg and Kristie
    Macosko Krieger, and Bold FIlms' David Litvak.
